The role

We are currently seeking a talented Senior/Principal Consultant - Energy & Carbon to work closely with our other specialists to contribute to the growth of our Energy business in Sydney & NSW.
With a minimum of 7 years commercial experience in the Energy & Carbon sector, you will play a key role in:
  • Providing technical guidance on projects won by the Energy & Carbon team
  • Contributing to the commercial success of projects and the Energy & Carbon team
  • Applying project management principles to accomplish project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner.
  • Assisting the Local Functional Manager with Business Management, Business Development and leadership of the team.
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy, a management consultancy or a Big 4 environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have:
  • Extensive experience (advisory and assurance) associated with the CE Act, NGER Act and EEO Act
  • Energy and GHG emissions auditing and management experience, preferably RGEA
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience managing the financial and commercial performance of a team (e.g. management of utilization, productivity, WIP/AR, revenue and profit)
  • A track record in Business Development will be highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Engineering or Scientific).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.
