We are seeking a seasoned IT Governance Management Analyst that can quickly learn the organization and strategy, review the current Governance processes and provide suggested improvements towards achieving a more solidified framework. Responsibilities include:
-Support the preparation, management and facilitation of governance activities. This will include scheduling of executive level governance events; development of support materials such as agenda, topic briefs, summary reports, maintenance of event distribution lists and point of contact data, management of use of collaborative tools supporting governing discussions and senior leader events.
-Assist the customer in setting direction, coordinating key stakeholders, facilitating action, tracking milestones, creating reports, developing metrics, supporting governing discussions with senior leaders, and reporting status.
-Provide research and guidance to senior leaders to recommend and implement changes.
-Support Enterprise Data Strategy and Information Sharing.
-Assist in the ongoing analysis of requirements, architecture, and security by assisting in developing draft white papers, decision, and information briefs.
-Assist in determining quantitative and qualitative evaluations through development of draft metrics.
-Assist in the refinement/reengineering and enforcement of the overall IT Governance framework and associated business processes.
-Manage the day to day activities of the team to meet customer goals and expectations.
-Work location will be at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA


Qualifications:
-Experience in IT governance disciplines ? particularly Capital Planning, Enterprise Governance, Enterprise Architecture, and Portfolio Management; Familiarity with information security issues.
-Experience designing/developing Data Governance Framework and Architecture for this customer or other agency.
-Experience in Technical Writing and Requirements Gathering required.
-Excellent research capability.
-Individuals must possess flexibility and personality skills to work within a dynamic, high-visibility, multi-contractor environment, working with government and contractor personnel.
-Individual must quickly gain understanding of the goals of the customer organization and apply knowledge to implementation, planning and execution.
-Must have strong communications skills (oral and written) to enable collaborative work across disparate organizations (all management levels) and programs to review technical documentation and recommend improvements to the existing data management practices and to help establish data governance strategy.
-Individual must possess demonstrated experience working with multiple stakeholders to reach mutual agreements on goals, objectives, program/domain capabilities, interfaces and milestones.
-Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-Ability to plan, organize, monitor, oversee, and perform activities with limited direct management oversight.
-Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business.
-Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience: Data and Information Management, Planning, Scheduling, Process Improvement Methodologies, Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
-PMP desired.

-This position is open only to candidates with a minimum of a DOD Secret security clearance.
