About Your Job:
In this role you will be accountable and manage all procurement requirements in a given or group of product categories, assisting to set category strategy, interfacing with internal customers and suppliers. Ensure best value for the company at all times for goods and services procured on behalf of the organisation, in line with strategic, financial and operational requirements. The role will involve interface with internal user departments and suppliers on procurement projects. Must be able to source products and suppliers, be able to negotiate with suppliers on cost, commercial and contracts in line with the procurement process. Work closely with Contracts to ensure appropriate agreements and terms are negotiated. Manage multiple procurement projects in tandem, prioritised according to the company’s strategic requirements and be accountable for project delivery.
You will be responsible for management of supply strategy definition for relevant product categories. You must be able to provide data and strategic analysis in category definition and KPI monitoring. Checking and delivering high quality, accurate work to internal customers, managers and suppliers. You will be required to work independently from management, demonstrating forward planning, initiative and business process improvements. You must be able to take own responsibility for self and team development through formal training and exposure new activities. You will propose and implement new processes, and show initiative in anticipating issues and planning. Working in a team you must be able to support colleagues and provide solution and training.
About You:
You will need to hold a bachelor level degree or procurement related vocational qualification. We seek to hire a candidate with a 5-8 years’ experience in similar procurement role, preferable experience in Airline, Middle East or strong product category. You must have good IT skills (ability to present data clearly & accurately) and strong communication (including good written and spoken English). We are looking for someone to join us with experience at senior level recognised in Event Management and handled PR activities. You must have expertise in Digital Marketing, Media Management and E-Commerce for this opening.
