The project is currently recruiting for suitably experienced and capable Fitters, Boilermakers and Welders for the Dalby/Chinchilla region on the QCLNG Upstream Project to commence in January 2013.
These roles will suit ambitious, self motivated and safety conscious persons who are able to work on a Bus In, Bus Out 21/7 roster and enjoy being part of a productive and flexible team environment.
Only applicants who can provide examples of relevant industry experience will be considered for this role. Applicants must hold appropriate industry qualifications and be able to provide examples of relevant competencies and experience.
The preferred candidate must demonstrate a high standard of personal safety including acknowledging the importance of being fit for duty, identifying and managing hazards and commitment to the safety of fellow workmates.
An online safety assessment, health assessment including physical assessment and drug and alcohol screening will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
Scope of work includes:
Steel and HDPE Pipelines, Field Compressor Stations and a Central Processing Plant, Piping and Structural Steel Erection.
The project is an internal Joint Venture between Thiess Queensland and Thiess Industrial Projects, with the potential for work through to 2014.
The roster is 21/7 and camp accommodation will be provided. The camps are located 3.5 hours north-west from Brisbane.
