Cross-Media: Deutsche Welle's Traineeships

Deutsche Welle's tri-medial traineeships have long had an excellent reputation. DW-Akademie offers young journalists professional, international editorial training for radio, television and Internet. Trainees benefit from the global reach of international broadcaster Deutsche Welle, Germany's global media calling card. In addition to the classic traineeship for native German speakers, Deutsche Welle offers international traineeships. This form of journalism training is unique in Germany.

Next International Traineeship will start May 2014.
Application Time Frame: 01.05. - 30.06.2013.

At least one of following native languages is required for the training program starting in May 2014: Arabic, Bengali, English, Hausa, Hindi, Persian, Portuguese (for Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Urdu.

All applications must be made online and within the given timeframe. We will be accepting applications for the 2014 international traineeship starting May 1, 2013. The deadline is June 30, 2013. We do not accept applications sent by mail.
