You will work with IPPF Member Associations (MAs) to collect, analyze and report on information about emerging new business opportunities, potential partners and candidates for a multi-year project that will increase access to, and use of, high quality, affordable family planning (FP) and other health information, products and services globally.  With international travel, you will support MAs with specific proposal writing efforts and build capacity of selected Regional Offices and MAs to access funding sources.
You have a proven track record in providing support to accessing funding sources. That must include networking, a strong understanding of funding opportunities and donor processes in global health financing, and robust knowledge of the process of acquiring new funding from international donors.  Significant experience of writing winning bids to international donor organisations is essential, as is the ability to support others in preparing bids.  A sound understanding of United States Agency for International Development (USAID), USAID Missions and US Government funding structures and processes is advantageous.
Fluent English and French are essential, as are excellent written communication skills.  Strong interpersonal skills, tact, diplomacy, and training skills are essential.  You have excellent time management skills together with good analytical and IT skills.  You must be competent in developing projects; competence in using logframes is desirable.  You must have a degree in a related subject or equivalent standard of education.
