Fixed term project to end 2018.
You will take the strategic lead, implementing and managing a new multi-country project that will increase access to, and use of, high quality, affordable family planning (FP) and other health information, products and services globally. You will strengthen IPPF organizational capacity and build sustainable service delivery networks in-country.  Leading a multi-disciplinary and cross country team you will ensure operational delivery which will require international travel. You will be the key contact with the donor – the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Profile:

You have significant, top level experience in reproductive health/family planning (RH/FP) programme management in developing countries, particularly sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. That must include the development and implementation of FP policies, programmes and service delivery approaches in an operational context.  You have a comprehensive technical knowledge of broader SRH service delivery approaches, health systems strengthening and health markets, with an understanding of a gender and rights perspective, RH/FP research and experience in the design and management of evidence-based programmes.
You have a proven track record managing to deadline, multi-country SRHR projects in developing countries, through multi-disciplinary teams.  You are an exceptional leader with excellent interpersonal skills to engage and influence a range of stakeholders. With experience of reporting to donors you have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with fluent English - French is desirable. Strong analytical and budgeting skills are a must.  Experience working with USAID is highly desirable. You have a post-graduate qualification in public health, social science or related field.
