  • We are looking for a Programme Volunteer to coordinate the visit of four Fellows from both sides of Jammu and Kashmir to the UK for a one-month Fellowship sponsored by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC). The thematic focus of this Fellowship is "Media, Peace and Security", . Specific tasks will including organising meetings, planning travel itineraries, database entry and drafting workshop reports.
    We are looking for someone able to commit to three days per week for a period of 8-10 weeks (mid-January to mid April 2014). Hours and days are negotiable and will be agreed on appointment.
    Candidates should have strong administrative and organisational skills, plus thorough attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    The role may be suitable for an undergraduate or recent graduate who would like to gain an insight into the challenging work of a peacebuilding NGO working in Jammu and Kashmir and a chance to develop their skills and experience in a programme support role.
