Position Title: Design Team Manager
Reports To: Project Manager
Qualifications:
The candidate should possess a minimum BSc Degree in Architecture and have a minimum 15 years of international experience in the Design field.
Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties of the Design Team Manager shall include but not be limited to the following tasks
- Will be in charge of the design team. Will oversee the day-to-day operations in the design department. May also hire staff, conduct performance assessments, and order design resources.
- Design manager may work and coordinate with other departments.
- Attending department meetings.
- Delegating and Reviewing team assignments.
- Conducting team training on new business guidelines or design developments.
- Guiding and motivating fellow employees.
- Creating innovative designs, drafts, or presentations.
- Meeting customer expectations.
- Ensuring design quality and that design directives are followed.
