HR Traineeship
Corporate Services Benelux (CSB) provides a range of management services to the 3 British Missions in Brussels and the Benelux region.
This traineeship is an opportunity to gain experience in the CSB Human Resources team in a diverse work area that covers all aspects of Human Resources.
The duration of the unpaid internship is based on operational need for those that fulfil the criteria for unpaid traineeship and the availability of the trainee with a minimum duration of two months. Trainees are responsible for their own accommodation. We require third party liability insurance which is often supplied by the Academic Institution when applicable to cover the trainee in the event they are injured on the premises or damage property. We also require proof of medical coverage for the period of traineeship. Periods of traineeship are subject to security clearance.
Human Resources
Scope of Traineeship
  • General administrative experience including: supporting the Human Resources Assistant in daily duties; supporting the Performance Management process ; electronic filing; diary & inbox management; and recruitment. Writing letters, documents, telegrams and e-mails. Dealing with and replying to enquiries.
  • Collating and preparing a monthly bulletin to all staff;
  • Handling HR documents, respecting guidelines and protocol;
  • Arranging appointments and meetings;
  • Filing and maintenance of filing system (including updating and weeding files);
  • Accessing documents on databases and extranets;
  • Updating contact details in the databases;
  • Requisition of stationery;
  • Processing forms and documents;
  • Attending meetings and taking notes;
  • Researching articles relating to Belgian and International law employment law.

  • Experience of working in an office environment and using office equipment (fax, photocopier, shredder, laminator).
  • Experience in an English speaking work environment and International work environment.
