Position: Specialist in fundraising for the construction of donations marketing at the Christian Foundation Trukajaya in Salatiga, Central Java

  • Trukajaya strives to strengthen the financial autonomy by use of local sources of funding, especially in Christianity through the establishment of a training center for rural development

Job description
  • You are responsible for the qualification of a fundraising team of local employees
  • Analyzing of a potential market donations mainly of the Christian middle class
  • Together with this team you create a differentiated promising fundraising strategy
  • You design appropriate and practicable measures of fundraising
  • You ensure lasting relationships with potential donors
  • You care for a systematic evaluation and encourage strategic adjustments
  • You support conceptually and practically the structure and the program of the training center
  • For implementation the above tasks you are working in the fundraising team
Qualifications
  • Completed university degree/master in social, political or economics with skills in fundraising, marketing and project management
  • Minimum of two years professional experience as a fundraiser in public relations or marketing, e. g. in the fundraising by church donations works or foundations
  • You have work experience gained as a trainer in adult education (e. g. church, club)
  • An active member of a Christian church, desirable with fundraising experience in community work
  • Very good language skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Living or working experience in Indonesia or Southeast Asia (at least 1 year)
  • If you don’t bring basic knowledge of Bahasa, you should be motivated to learn this language
  • Desirable experience/qualifications in project planning, monitoring and evaluation
