Office Manager
The office manager leads the institutional growth of the Asia office. He/she is based in Bogor, Indonesia and reports to the director of Aidenvironment in Amsterdam.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Office Management: Ensure effective organization and management of the Asia office
• Organisational Development: Prepare and implement a strategy for organisational development of the Asia office.
• Human Resources Management & Development: Develop and implement a policy for staff employment terms, strengthen capacities of individual consultants and project teams and organize staff trainings and social activities.
• Project Acquisition: Monitor acquisition, including check of proposal budgets and translation into internal budgets.
• Project Management: Plan and monitor staff inputs in advisory assignments in close collaboration with project leaders.
• Project Administration and Finance: Negotiate contracts and supervise adequate project administration by project leaders. Ensure that finance systems at office level are kept up to date.
• Monitoring: Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring all the above elements of organisational performance.
• Reporting: Proactively liaise with the Management Team on all aspects of organisational development, and ensure that MT members are fully informed of organisational development objectives, purposes and achievements.
Profile
• We are looking for an energetic people-focused candidate with a strong passion for contributing to sustainable development in Asia.
Reliable, tolerant and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view. Able to operate
in informal as well as formal contexts
• Our candidate holds at least a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Organizational Management or
HR Development and is available for at least 0.8 fte
• Our candidate has relevant working experience, preferably in managing project teams or small organizations
Experience in the not-for-profit sector and/or consultancy is a pre
• Fluency in English is required; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is strong pre.
• Willingness to reside in Bogor
