Behind the Brands Digital Producer
Want to be the person whose digital campaigning gets noticed and gets results with the world’s biggest food companies?
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the digital delivery of the Behind the Brands campaign for Oxfam International.  It would suit a digital communications specialist or digitally savvy campaigner and involves content planning, coordination and light production to deliver a great user experience and digital content and an enthusiasm using performance data to make smart decisions in continues improvements to the site. You will be familiar with the use of content management systems, have experience using social media for influencing and have experience of web analytics (especially Google Analytics). It’s a rare chance to gain international campaigning experience, to develop expertise on an enterprise class CMS, to develop digital content with a skilled, international and diverse team, to manage paid ad campaigns, to work with a leading digital agency on digital content and use your analytical skills to interpret performance data.
Behind the Brands is a multilingual, multi-affiliate project with three key areas of digital delivery. 
1: an embeddable web platform built on an enterprise class CMS with some aspects centrally managed, others under the control of affiliates and country teams.
2: coordinated social media output (i.e. tweets, Facebook (visual) updates)
3: supporter communications products and messaging (i.e. email text, infographics)
Main tasks
• Write, maintain and add web content on the multilingual Behind the Brands platform.
• Coordinate work with affiliate and language editors to manage their platforms.
• Create, and advise on development of, new content (news articles, actions, graphics, status updates etc.)
• Maintain a good campaign user experience by taking a user-centred approach to content planning; proactively sourcing content from within Oxfam and externally and helping the public campaign team prioritise digital work.
• Monitor usage and user engagement via Google Analytics and social media monitoring tools and create actionable recommendations and reporting.
• Troubleshoot and support web editors and public campaigns team.
• Develop and run paid promotional campaigns.
• Membership of the Behind the Brands public campaigns team.
• Work closely with Digital Lead to implement and, where appropriate, refine digital strategy.
• Liaise with our Digital Agency on technical and design changes and defect management.
• Assess and advise on viability, strategic alignment and cost/benefit of proposals and ideas from the wider team.
• Liaise with the wider Oxfam digital community, especially the OI digital communications team.
Job requirements
• You have an HBO/University degree
• You have demonstrable experience in content management and social media.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in other languages such as French and Spanish will be an advantage.
• You have demonstrable affinity with the work of Oxfam Novib.
• You are a team player, flexible, result orientated.
• Applicants must be Nationals of a European Union member State or have a valid work permit for the European Union.
We offer
A dutch local contract with a competitive and fair pay and benefits package that is justifiable to our donors. We offer a gross salary in the range from € 2.351,- to € 3.617.- on the basis of a 36 hour working week. This is excl. 8% holiday fee. An one year contract.
