SUPPORT ENGINEER
Job description
You will support the efforts of the Atlas Copco Specialty Rental team with both current and existing customers by providing technical and marketing guidance in product selection, proposal preparation and presentation to the internal contacts. You will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the product limitations and capabilities while developing an understanding of Atlas Copco Specialty Rental basic requirements. You will work with current Atlas Copco Specialty Rental group(s)/vendors to develop, improve best practices and processes, by providing fleet solutions to extend the capabilities of our product offering.
Mission
You will be responsible for,- Reviewing specifications for technical feasibility.- Providing detailed clarification of scope and noting any exceptions.- Negotiating deviations with end users.- Clearly defining the Atlas Copco equipment scope of supply.- Completing product data forms as required for submittals.- Supporting the fleet initiative.- Communicating as required with both sales and end users.- Making site visits as required to review and validate customer needs.- Attending technical meetings to review detailed specifications.- Assisting, developing and following compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Experience requirements
0-2 years of experience in application engineering.
Knowledge
- Engine and motor driven rotating equipment is desirable- Reciprocating piston compressors and or pumps is preferred- High pressure vessels and piping systems is preferred- Screw or centrifugal compressors is a plus- - Proficient with Pack Office- Fluent in English, other language will be a plus.
Educational requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
