Senior Policy Advisor

Ofcom is the independent regulator and competition authority for UK communications industries. From radio and TV broadcasting to mobile phones, Wi-Fi and satellite communications, Ofcom seeks to respond to and shape the challenging and complex issues of technological and market change.

We are looking for first class communicators with sound understanding and appreciation of the role of regulation and policy in the communications sector. Candidates will also be excellent team players with strong interpersonal skills, analytical thinkers, with the ability to manage detail while delivering high-level policy output.

Advising on the best use of the radio spectrum, you will lead a significant policy project, which could include helping to improve the speed of mobile brand and Wi-Fi services, freeing-up spectrum for innovative new services and supporting the development of the Internet of Things – wireless communication between devices.
