Inside Sales Representative

Work with a global leader in manufacturing technology! Sandvik Coromant, the world's number 1 producer and supplier of metal cutting tools, is seeking candidates to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative for our Cypress, CA location. The position will report to the Inside Sales Team Leader.
The Role
In this role, the Inside Sales Representative will support the Global Sandvik Coromant Business and Sales Strategy by providing outstanding Customer Service to our customers and distributors/integrators within the designated sales territory. Our ideal Inside Sales Representatives are enthusiastic, welcoming, team oriented and dedicated to fulfilling our customers' needs promptly and courteously.
Key Performance Areas- Profile
We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative who:
  • Provides a superior level of customer service that exceeds the expectations of our customers
  • Cultivates relationships with our distributors/integrators and end customers and supports our shared sales and service efforts.
  • Works cooperatively with field sales team to support sales growth efforts
  • Exercises proficiency in all service processes including order processing of standard and special products, product returns, credits, expediting, recycling, tool reconditioning, price deviations and our web shopping application
  • Supports sales growth by actively following up on sales leads and making outbound sales calls.
  • Seeks and shares information, knowledge, and experiences openly and proactively for the development of our team.
  • Engages and communicates effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to verify expectations, and to bring any product or service issues to a prompt and satisfactory resolution for our customers.
  • Lives the Sandvik Core Values by conducting oneself with integrity, building trust and leading by example
  • Conducts business in an ethical manner, in compliance with Sandvik anti-corruption policy
Requirements
  • BA/BS or Associates degree
  • Solid PC understanding and skills with working knowledge of MS Office products and Windows environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Must be self-motivated and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Must have a well-developed ability to prioritize, and follow up. You must also be cooperative and relationship-oriented, as well as able to network easily
  • Limited overnight travel is required
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
