Financial Controller
Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology is a business area within Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. The offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.
Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy’s Turku plant is a global technology and manufacturing center for underground loading & hauling equipment for mining and construction industries. Local Business Controlling team is now looking for a proactive and customer focused Financial Controller.
Key performance areas
  • Full ownership of financial controlling activities of reporting entity, including e.g. monthly book closing and group reporting processes.
  • Continuous improvement of internal control processes between business, shared service centers and local business controlling team.
  • Development and maintenance of accounting and reporting tools and processes.
  • Finance Business Partner to global Loading & Hauling R&D management.
  • Various ad hoc requests and monthly analysis will be part of this role as well.
Your profile
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics and business administration with deep knowledge of financial & business accounting and reporting. We are looking for proactive and service minded finance professional to join our team. Our business is global and our work environment is international, and therefore we expect you to have a good written and oral command of English language. Good command in Microsoft Office applications is a prerequisite. You have at least basic understanding of local tax regulations and international transfer pricing models.
