Data Capturer Invasive Species Management
A vacancy currently exists for a data-capturer in the Invasive Species Management Office in Westlake, Tokai. The successful candidate will report to the Invasive Species Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
• Collate and capture invasive species data
• Prepare monthly reports
• Attend to enquiries/complaints from the general public/officials;
• Update and follow up on delegated tasks to ensure adherence to deadlines
• Maintain procedures and guideline documents to ensure compliance
• Keep and update relevant records
Requirements
• Grade 12
• Code 08 drivers license
• Detail orientated and works with a high degree of accuracy
• Working knowledge of: MS Word and MS Excel, Power Point, Internet, Ms Outlook
• Availability to work flexible hours e.g. after hour duties
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized and flexible
• Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
• Must be self directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
