EUMETSAT is the European satellite agency for monitoring weather and climate. Bringing together the resources of 26 member states, we develop and operate a range of satellite systems surveying the atmosphere, land and ocean that deliver vital data 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our data contribute to weather forecasts that protect lives and property across Europe. EUMETSAT is now embarking on new and challenging satellite development programmes, shaping its long-term future.

(Four-year fixed term contract with the possibility of renewal)

Overseeing the Documentation Management and Control System within our Geostationary Programmes Division, you will have a vital part to play in everything we do. Specifically, you will maintain plans and working practices, check documentation for conformity and verify completeness of records, whilst driving continuous improvement in knowledge of information management processes. At the same time, you will follow up the evolution of programmes, spanning satellites, their instruments, ground segment and launches, through the baselining of requirements design, plans and the engineering changes at each stage of the project lifecycle.

To join us, you should be experienced in using computerised documentation control systems and extremely organised and methodical in your approach. Equally importantly, you will be self-motivated and team-oriented, with full fluency in English and a working knowledge of French.

Based in Darmstadt, Germany, the posts is offered on a four-year fixed term contract with strong probability of five-yearly renewals. We require people who are fluent in English, with a working knowledge of French.
