Assistant Chef

Company is seeking the services of a professional Chef/Residence Manager to assist the Chef with the overall functioning of the residence.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have ALL the following requirements:

1. Completion of Secondary School.
2. A minimum of 3 years work experience as a cook.
3. Good working knowledge of English reading,/writing/speaking.
4. Must be courteous and be able to perform duties with minimum disruption to occupants of the Residence.
5. Must be able to work cooperatively with other members of the household staff with minimum guidance and plan own work day.
6. Must be willing to work flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Job Specification

The primary functions will be to assist with both daily and event menu planning and meal preparation. Meals hosted at residence must be equivalent to a four-star restaurant level for formal sit down dinners of up to 30 guests, buffets for 50 or more guests, cocktails and receptions for up to 100 guests, and business breakfasts, lunches and dinners for up to 20 guests.
