Australian Country Director Global Poverty Project
We’re looking for an Australia Country Director to lead our Australian operations for 2012 and beyond.
Passionate about building the movement to end extreme poverty, you’ll be an exceptional strategic thinker, highly relational, and an inspiring leader, driving the Australian activities of the global organisation.
You’ll be a proactive and hard-working person who can excel in a small but growing team, doing what needs to get done in supporting our education and advocacy campaigns on good aid, Fairtrade and ethical purchasing, and good governance. You’ll be an exceptional people person, coordinating and motivating our staff and vendors to deliver on-time, on-message and on-budget every time. You’ll hate bureaucracy but love systems and processes that help get things done.
And as part of the global leadership team, you’ll understand that working across five time-zones means that you really need to know when to email someone and when to call them.
