Director General At The Middle East Association
The Middle East Association is the UK’s premier business forum for promoting trade and relations with the Middle East and North Africa. Founded in 1961 and based in London, the MEA is an independent, not-for-profit membership association, representing around 350 organisations from all business and industry sectors.
It is now seeking a new Director General of the highest calibre to build on the successful work of our incumbent Director General, Charles Hollis.
The applicant must be forward-thinking, proactive, creative, commercially aware and able to communicate at all levels.
He/she will report directly to the Board and will direct and lead a small team of ten. He/she will be responsible for growing MEA membership and supporting members’ interests, maintaining and expanding the MEA’s income stream, developing and managing events, seminars, conferences and trade missions and will travel to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to develop business and sustain existing relationships. He/she will liaise at the highest level of government and business relations both in the UK and in the MENA region.
The position is full time and based in London.
