HEAD OF FOUNDATION INDIA Based in Mumbai

Overall objective: Under the supervision of the General-Director of ACF-France and in support to the chairman of ACF-India, your role is to ensure the conditions for long-term and appropriate presence of Action contre la Faim in India. You will be responsible for:

Propose a strategy for ACF-India Perform background analysis in terms of needs and existing structures and identify ACF’s opportunities for development in India Develop a vision for ACF-India Develop a functional emergency response strategy Develop a functional fundraising strategy Develop a recruitment strategy Analyze ACF’s opportunities for intervention in the field of research

Supervise the strategy implementation process Develop projects proposals for institutional and private donors Supervise the funding of programs Translate the strategies into action plan and monitor their progress Coordinate the functional implementation in all areas of humanitarian response Set up and manage teams

Represent ACF Communicate to and intervene on behalf of ACF with other NGOs, in international forum, working groups, committees, etc. Intervene with the media Coordinate the Foundation’s advocacy and lobbying actions Communicate to the ACFIN network about the Foundation’s activities and coordinate its actions with its counterparts.

Profile: Graduated from a master’s degree or equivalent, you have a minimum experience of 10 years. You have worked mainly within ACFIN network in an executive or high responsibility position and have proved your ability to develop and carry out growth strategies. You master the role of each department in ACF (engineering, research, communication and fundraising, funding, logistics and HR) and your determination will help you get people to adhere to your vision of ACF in India. As an experienced manager, you can lead a team and manage a budget in a situation of economic growth. You have good diplomatic skills and are known for ability to work in a multicultural environment and to conduct negotiations in a difficult situation.

Status: senior executive – 24-months contract – full time job

Wage conditions: depending on your profile and experience

Particular conditions: the position involves travel in sometimes basic comfort conditions
