Experience: Internship. Job Details: The UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Bonn is currently looking for an intern to assist the UNEVOC Network team.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in a review survey to obtain updated information on the UNEVOC Centres, specifically in Latin America and in the Arab States through contacting the Centres or relevant Offices/institutions;
• Re-establish and develop the communication with Centres in Latin America and find ways to better involve them in UNEVOC activities and online services;
• Identify leading government institutions responsible for core functions in TVET and encourage them to be part of the Network;
• Establish a dossier on the activities and involvement of the UNEVOC Centres in Latin America and the Caribbean since their nomination and identify the people involved in the process;
• Assist in developing the country TVET database.

Qualifications and experience:

• Enrolment in University studies at the time of application, preferably at post-graduate level with a focus on international relations, communication and/or international education/skills development;
• Fluency in English with excellent writing skills;
• Knowledge of other UN languages (especially Spanish and/or Arabic) would be a strong asset;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
• Affinity with international and intercultural environments;
• Interest in UNESCO’s work for technical and vocational education and training.

Minimum duration of the internship: 3 months

Preferred starting date: as soon as possible.

The Centre does not provide remuneration for internships.
