Qualification and Experience
• PhD in Electrical Engineering specializing in Communication Systems.
• Considerable teaching and research experience in thematic areas which include:
o Mobile and fixed communication systems design and performance analysis
o Simulation and modelling, and related areas at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in an accredited engineering programme
• Experience in the application of communication systems to solve local and regional problems
• Proven track record of teaching and research
• Knowledge of standard productivity tools such as MS Office suite
• Interest and experience in application of communication systems to solve local and regional problems will be a strong asset.
Special Responsibilities
• Teaching of courses in Communication Systems including Stochastic Processes, and as otherwise required
• Conducting publishable research in Communication Systems
• Providing related administrative support
Personal Attributes
• Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, ability to work well with students, fluent and articulate communicator
