Minimum Qualifications:
Recognized post graduate degree in Haematology following a basic medical degree OR PhD in Haematology following a basic science degree with training in laboratory haematology.

Experience:
Considerable teaching experience in Haematology at undergraduate level. Preference would be given to candidates who have a research interest as evidenced by participation in ongoing research projects.

Special Competencies:
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to carry out independent and group research.

Personal Attributes:
The appointee should have the ability to relate well with colleagues and support staff, and take on any responsibilities incumbent with the post.
