Program Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist

International development firm is seeking qualified candidates for Program Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist position to work on a long-term overseas contract in Latin America. The Program M&E Specialist must possess relevant expertise and experience in Project Results Management, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).

The following specific qualifications are required for the assignment:

• 8+ years in project management, strategic planning, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for international development programs, especially in the areas of Economic Growth • Experience working and coordinating with developing-country governments, ministries and/or local NGOs, for design and implementation of M&E activities; • Advanced degree in Economics, or other relevant degree; • Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish; • Experience working on program/project management and monitoring and evaluations for USAID-funded development programs desired, but not required. • Must have demonstrated technical expertise, ample field of experience, and relevant technical background in evaluating rural development programs, nutrition, and the environment. • This person will complement the Chief of Party’s technical knowledge with hands-on field survey design and implementation experience. • The candidate must possess the ability to rapidly develop impact evaluation scopes of work and consolidate independent relationships with technical-level public officials and civil society partners in carrying out impact evaluations
