This is a well-established €200m charitable foundation providing funded support programmes and consulting services to political and economic bodies in the developing world. Backed by a major private European institution, the foundation works to promote accountable and responsible government, to extend democratic values and processes, and to assist with sustainable and appropriate economic initiatives.
Responsibility is to the Director of the foundation for the identification and evaluation of projects, risk assessment and strategy formulation. The role includes the development and cultivation of relationships at senior levels across the international community and the collation and communicating of information and plans both internally and externally.
The client is seeking a motivated and outgoing individual, intellectually first class, with excellent interpersonal skills, an international outlook and the ability to gain the confidence and trust of a wide range of external contacts. Business awareness and fluency in English is essential. This is an excellent developmental role for someone with a background in financial services or strategic consultancy.
Regular international travel will be involved. Candidates should be EU citizens.
