Job Title: Exchange eMail and Collaboration Software System Administrator

Job Description/Responsibilities:
This role is performed by technical professionals who specialize in providing support services to clients running Exchange eMail and related Collaboration Software.

Job responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provide ongoing support for the email and collaboration software for multiple customers as part of a pooled support team
• In addition to the support of the core Exchange application and mail software, also support additional collaboration software such as Blackberry, Lync, eMail Archiving, email Virus scan products and/or SMTP gateways as required.
• Services performed include ensuring high availability solutions as well as the ability to recover environments from failures.
• Administer Exchange application and mail servers including installation, configuration, maintenance and decommission as required
• Be member of 24/7 oncall rotation and provide disaster support as required
• Execute after hours/weekend changes
• Respond to critical situations and required and provide advanced troubleshooting
• Demonstrate strong understanding of IBM security processes and execute all required security compliance tasks
• Participate in project planning, management and implementation

Skills:
• Advanced level of knowledge of Exchange systems and associated products.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Work experience with eMail archiving systems, SMTP mail, and eMail backup software
• Knowledge of Blackberry Enterprise Server.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to all stakeholders in business language
• Must be analytical, decisive and self motivated, strong team and problem solving skills.
• Deliver service excellence in all tasks.
• Demonstrate attention to detail


Education:
• College Diploma or University Degree required
• Microsoft Certifications preferred.
