Executive Directorate (EXD)

The Executive Directorate is the OECD’s central service, supporting the organisation in areas including financial and human resource management, information technology, all aspects of conference management and all operational services including building infrastructure and logistics.

As a senior leader of the Organisation, the Executive Director reports directly to the Secretary-General monitoring overall corporate strategic directions and addressing the organisation’s priorities whilst achieving outcomes and efficiency gains. He/She is responsible for the overall management, administration and coordination of all EXD Services ensuring a corporate service which is customer focused, efficient, responsive and high quality.

We are looking for a highly experienced and resourceful individual, able to lead and manage the Executive Directorate, shape strategic thinking and provide direction and support to all aspects of the operations, management and business support services of the OECD.

He/She will be a member of the OECD senior management team, represent the Secretary-General in relevant OECD bodies and meetings and will be expected to build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders both inside and outside the Organisation in order to carry out the OECD’s mission and achieve results.

This position requires fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English or French) and a good working knowledge of the other.
