Description: Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a leading think tank specializing in international affairs with global operations, is seeking a highly energetic individual to work with our project in Central Asia. The Coordinator will provide research and administrative support for publications; write short analytical pieces for web publication; schedule and plan events, provide occasional research support, correspond in Russian with partner organizations in Central Asia, help with translations, assist with day-to-day activities of the al-Farabi project, and perform other administrative duties, include travel arrangements.
Excellent entry level opportunity. Position requires native or near native fluency in Russian; ability to travel for up to 2-4 weeks at a time; outstanding writing skills; and excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of a Central Asian language a plus.
