Regulatory Affairs Manager ETNO

ETNO, Europe's principal trade association for telecoms operators, represents fifty members and observers from the e-communications and ICT equipment sectors. ETNO is an important interlocutor of the EU and international institutions for information society and telecoms policies and regulation. The Association is now seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager for its Brussels Office.

Function

The role of the Regulatory Affairs Manager is to research and report on relevant policy and regulatory initiatives, coordinate the development of ETNO positions, and ensure optimal external representation of ETNO opinions. The main responsibility of the Regulatory Affairs Manager will be economic regulation/ policy and he/she will report directly to the Director.

Profile

This senior position requires a comprehensive understanding of European telecoms policy and the EU regulatory framework. Good knowledge of the functioning of the European institutions as well as a keen understanding of issue management and lobbying are essential. The candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and advocacy skills and have a working manner appropriate for a multi-member work environment. The candidate must be perfectly fluent in written and oral English.
