 The role

 Key Responsibilities

·  Produce high-quality documents and presentations using the Adobe Creative Suite 5 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Acrobat Professional)

·  Create and use templates in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

·  Create and modify graphics, tables, diagrams, flowcharts, charts and artwork (posters, invites, advertisements, newsletters, etc.)

·  Update internet and intranet sites using content management systems

·  Assist in the delivery of high-quality creative concepts and designs for corporate material

·  Ensure that all material is developed in-line with the Corporate Brand Guidelines and adds value to the existing corporate suite

·  Manage the printing process for all materials, including: liaising with printing companies to obtain quotes and samples, ensuring printing deadlines are met and material is distributed

·  Liaise with relevant stakeholders to obtain images and content to complete a project

·  Maintain accurate records of project activities, artwork files, copyright and archiving

·  Assist in developing and maintaining processes to improve the team's efficiency

·  Manage day-to-day requests from stakeholders

Key Performance Indicators

·  To be discussed and agreed upon with the successful candidate 

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

·  5+ years recent experience in a corporate desktop publishing position

·  Advanced software skills in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and the MS Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel). Flash experience preferred, although not essential.

·  Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality corporate publications, templates and promotional material for print and online environments

·  Demonstrated skills in project management with a proven ability to: prioritise, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and communicate effectively

·  Superior attention to detail

·  Strong initiative and focus on delivery 

·  Advanced communications skills (verbal and written)

·  Detailed knowledge of printing practices and experience in managing large-scale print jobs

·  Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods

·  Self-motivated, efficient, enthusiastic, reliable, responsible, proactive, committed, trustworthy and a team player

·  Knowledge of website design and content management and HTML email design

·  Bachelor degree in Graphic Design (or another related discipline) preferable, although not essential
