The role 
We are currently seeking a talented Regional Functional Manager to work closely with our other specialists to develop our Mining, Power and Renewables business in the Central Region (Sydney, Western Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra).

With a minimum of 20 years commercial experience in details, you will play a key role in:

1.  Effective strategic planning and management of the functional area

2.  Achieve sustainable growth of the group through targeted client relationship management and business development activity

3.  Provide project governance, at project director level, of project management in the functional area to achieve reliable project performance in terms of sophistication, timeliness and quality

4.  In collaboration with local management, provide leadership to the employees in the functional group in the local offices as nominated to ensure optimal performance, resourcing, retention and professional development of the employees

With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will:


  • be Sydney or Newcastle based.

  • have an understanding of the mining, power and renewables disciplines.

  • be well-connected within the mining market.
