The role



We are currently seeking a talented Principal Engineer/Senior Scientist to become a valued member of SMEC's multidisciplinary team in achieving high quality outcomes for our valued clients.

This is a senior role and will involve:


  • Providing key technical expertise across a broad range of projects

  • Managing the scope of multiple projects of varying complexity and size

  • Developing strong and effective client relationships

  • Delivering best client outcomes saving client costs and time

  • Preparing high level technical reports and review

  • Contribution to proposals and pursuits

  • Applying Quality Assurance and Workplace Health & Safety systems

  • Contribution to building the technical capability of others and transferring technical expertise within the organisation.

Suitable applicants will hold:


  • Significant demonstrated experience in a similar role

  • Bachelors Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent

  • Membership with Engineers Australia or IPENZ
