Salary: R464 919 per annum (all-inclusive salary package)

Requirements: • 3-year degree/National Diploma in Information Management, or a qualification in a relevant field • 3 years’ managerial experience in information/data management (data collection; integration and dissemination of business information) • Experience in managing a data warehouse • Practical statistical analysis experience and report writing • Excellent computer literacy in MS Excel and PowerPoint • Experience in MS Access, relational database design and SQL queries will be a recommendation • Knowledge of Human Settlements programmes and housing projects • Project management experience will be a recommendation.

Duties: • Gather housing delivery indicators (data) at National, Provincial and Local Government level, including from the provincial operational systems • Maintain a national data warehouse environment for human settlements information, including storage and database administration and make available data for reporting • Integrate the housing data with other information including spatial information • Analyse data to assess and manage data quality and conduct verification of data • Make available data and integrated business information (statistical reports) for monitoring and reporting on the housing delivery processes at provincial level • Compile reports, information publications and submissions on developments and trends indicated by an anaylsis of housing data • Use data and information to compile draft replies for Parliamentary Questions • Perform administrative functions, including managing strategic and operational plans and performance reporting.
