Operator Grade II: Cable Handler (Mining Operations)

This role will see you operate secondary equipment such as a cable handler and rubber tyre dozer (834), and maintain and prepare the blocks. You're also needed to assist when the shovel and other equipment are moved and during maintenance of the floors at the shovel. Your functions include removal of stones and rocks on primary and secondary roads.
You will need a Grade 12/N3 certificate, 1 or more years' experience in mining equipment/drilling (as relevant) and a valid driver's licence will be recommended.
Additional Information:
- This vacancy is a 6-month fixed term contract.
- You must be certified medically fit and will be appointed subject to being assessed after training and declared competent by the Functional Mining Training Department, and you must have passed the Dover test.
