IT Strategy/Business Analyst
This position will focus on the development of strategic partnerships between UITS (University Information Technology Services) and the campus community; actively engage in the development, implementation, and improvement of collaborations between UITS and the university community so that schools, departments, and individuals utilize the leveraged enterprise resources provided by UITS to reduce duplication, decrease institutional costs and improve service offerings. This position will assist in the early stages of collaboration to reduce obstacles to success, to assist in implementation when necessary, and to insure full communication between all parties concerned. |
Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in computer science or other related technical field, plus 3 years of systems or business analysis and implementation in the delivery of computing services. Combinations of related education and experience will be accepted on a 2:1 ratio. Some experience in a complex IT environment (that includes both enterprise systems and distributed unit-based systems across a wide variety of technologies and architectures) is required. Technical expertise or experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred/desirable: systems administration, desktop support. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with excellent interpersonal and communication skills is necessary.
