Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the Bank. The position holder manages and directs the strategic direction of Accounting and Finance functions creates and enforces accounting and finance policies, procedures, and internal controls and improves the quality and efficiency of all financial reporting, ensuring that it is strategic, pertinent, and succinct and covers all the key aspects of the organisation.
Job Specifications:
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking, Finance or Economics coupled with a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA or CIMA;
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with a strong career track record, heading up and leading the finance function of a Bank at a strategic level, and responsible for the day to day activities;
    • A strong career track record, heading up a Finance function in a bank with multidimensional and cross-border businesses for a minimum period of 3-5 years, within the banking sector;
    • Financial and commercial astuteness at a strategic level coupled with seasoned business judgement.
