Nai Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan is an Afghan media development NGO based in Kabul.
Nai was launched in June 2004 and is registered and recognized by the Ministry of Economics of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Nai is also a full member of Internews International (www.internews.tv), an association uniting thirty-one autonomous non-profit organizations working for the development of independent, pluralistic and open media worldwide.

Job Summary

To condact Trianings in Social Media

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting a series of trainings on Social Media/ Citizen Journalism at Kabul. He will be over all responsible to coach trainees and lead trainings.
• The trainers will be responsible to prepare training materials including handbook and manual, attendance sheet, registration form, pre/post evaluation form, calling and inviting youths to be attended at the workshop and ….
• The trainer will be committed on assessing project manager in any issue during project cycle; also he will be present full time to cooperate project manager. 
• Preparing/ compiling report for trainings, based on project wants and formal format.
• Preparing/ compiling monthly trainings report, which should shows highlighted activities and photograph should be subsumed at the report, the report must be prepared based on formal format and project manager requirements.
• The trainer should be honest and commitment to observe organizational behavior and maintenance Nai’s assets.
• The trainer will be full responsible to mentor trainees and collecting their materials/ stories and news, and the mentoring process will be held based on a strategic action plan. 

Qualification

. Bachelor in Journalism or Social Science 
• At least 3years’ experience in Journalism
• At least 1 year Training experience. 
• At least 1 year working / reporting experience.
• Strong communications and coordinating skills
•Hard working and highly committed.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dari, Pashto and English.
•Be able to work independently and in a team environment, prioritize effectively and self-manage
