Good Morning Sunday presented by Clare Balding is Radio 2’s Sunday morning breakfast show. It attracts an audience of 2.2 million listeners each week. We are looking for an Assistant Producer to work on this show which offers a mix of music, celebrity interviews and discussions on faith and spirituality. 

Role

 
Reporting to the Producer, the Assistant Producer will be responsible for booking and recording celebrity interviews; providing research notes for the presenter and writing the content for the programme’s website. You will be expected to contribute ideas for the programme and to find new ways of interacting with and engaging the audience. You will also be expected to contribute original ideas for ad hoc religious, moral and ethical features and documentaries across the networks.

Requirements

With previous experience of booking celebrity interviews, you will have knowledge of the world of religion and proven ability to edit on Startrack, operate self op studios and load music into VCS Highlander.
With relevant experience of pre-recording interviews in studios you will have the ability to work well as part of a team and have excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.
 
This role will ideally start in April 2013.
