Background: DAI, an international consulting firm based in the United States, is currently accepting applications from candidates for Translators who are fluent in English and Burmese and/or English and any other ethnic language in Burma (Ex. Ka Chin, Ka Yay, Ka Yin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan).
Responsibilities: The Translators will:
• Translate documents between English, Burmese and other ethnic languages.
Qualifications: • Fluency in English, Burmese and/or other ethnic languages. • Demonstrated relevant experience providing translation services with language about peace processes and negotiations strongly preferred. • Demonstrated experience providing translation services for civil society or international development programming preferred.
