IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a world-wide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.
With international travel you will lead on global policy and strategy to achieve universal access to reproductive health services, particularly family planning, by those who are poor, marginalized and under-served.
You have a post-graduate degree in public health, social science or equivalent standard of education. A comprehensive technical knowledge of SRHR service delivery approaches and health systems strengthening is essential. That must include family planning, with an understanding of gender and rights perspectives and the design and management of evidence-based programmes. You have significant exposure to clinical work – obstetrics, gynecology and midwifery – with specific focus on the provision of contraception and reproductive health services. That experience must include working in developing countries.
You are an exceptional leader and strategist with excellent team and staff management skills (including virtual). You are a strong networker and can influence at national, regional and international levels. You have well established resource mobilization skills and contacts. Strong policy and programme development, implementation and evaluation skills are essential. You have excellent written communication skills and are fluent in English.
