Senior Adviser, HIV IPPF

IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a world-wide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.
With international travel you will lead on global policy and strategy to deliver comprehensive HIV services, in particular to those who are poor, marginalized and under-served.
You have significant exposure working on HIV programmes and policies internationally and/or in developing countries (notably in sub-Saharan Africa). You have a post-graduate degree in public health, social science, law, human rights or equivalent standard of education. You have a comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of HIV issues, including the linkage between SRH and HIV, HIV research and the design and management of evidence–based programmes, along with proven ability in the implementation of the GIPA principle.
You are an exceptional leader and strategist with excellent team and staff management skills (including virtual). You are a strong networker and can influence at national, regional and international levels. You have well established resource mobilization skills and contacts. Strong policy and programme development, implementation and evaluation skills are essential. You have excellent written communication skills and are fluent in English.
