Expert On Investment Policy Euradia Multilateral
Qualifications and skills
- University degree or above in law, economics or a similar discipline;
- Good skills in drafting reports;
- Excellent Vietnamese and English expression both orally and in writing.
General professional experience
- Experience in working in a complex structure of government ministries and agencies, private sector organisations and companies;
- Experience in providing technical assistance for Vietnamese public authorities and agencies on legal issues and/or macroeconomic policies;
- Broad knowledge in some economic sub-sectors and/or experience on the linkage between trade and development, poverty, environment and social related issues.
Specific professional experience
- A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in the field of investment policy;
- Advanced knowledge of domestic investment legislation/regulation, and national investment regulating authorities is highly desirable;
- Experience in investment legal frame work in general, and laws and regulations governing investment in industrial sectors in particular;
- Experience in providing technical assistance to Vietnamese public authorities, agencies and /or businesses on investment issues.
It is foreseen that the key experts will be engaged in, but not limited to the following work/areas of activities:
- To ensure coherence and streamlining strategic directions in Project technical activities;
- Contribute to enhance Project visibility, especially in communication with Government agencies and the beneficiaries;
- Be a team coordinator in selected technical activities, especially critically important activities;
- Guiding on outline of technical reports and comments on the draft final reports of other activities;
- Be speakers at some training courses and workshops.
The key expert is expected to work for at least 200 days for the project during contract implementation.
