Organisation Background:

 

MAP works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. Established in 1984, MAP works in partnership with local organizations to deliver health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement. With offices located in Beirut, Ramallah and Gaza City, MAP responds rapidly in times of crisis and works with partners and communities on health development.

 

The Role:

 

MAP seeks a Director of Programmes who will act as its representative in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt), promoting effective working relationships with  local partners, donors and communities.     MAPs oPt programme is focused on emergency preparedness and relief, health development, advocacy and disability rights. This position will offer the right candidate a chance to guide and develop this important area of MAPs programme within MAPs core strategic goals and mandate, working as a member of MAPs senior management team.
