Project title: Technical Assistance for Increasing the Adaptability of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Operation

Brief description: The overall objective of this project is to increase the adaptability of tradesmen and craftsmen by investing more in human capital for the sake of more sustainable economic growth.

The purpose of the project is as follows:

• to increase service delivery capacities of TESK and its training and consultancy centers
• to strengthen competencies of employees and employers working as tradesman and craftsmen

Results to be achieved:

1. Result 1 Improved capacity of the training and consultancy centres in terms of the quality of the services they provide by the end of the operation.
2. Result 2: Enhanced vocational knowledge and skill level of tradesmen and craftsmen by the end of the operation.

Commencement date of the project: November 2013

Requirements:

Qualifications and skills

- University degree in one of the fields of administrative sciences, economics, education, social sciences or in the absence of such a degree, at least 10 years of working experience in one of the fields: business management, public administration

- Good command of written and spoken English

- Full computer literacy

- Post graduate degree in business management or human resources management will be an asset

General professional experience:

- Preferably 10 but a minimum of 7 years of experience is required

- Preferably 4 but a minimum 2 years of experience as team leader in projects funded by European Social Fund or Pre-Accession Funds is required

Specific professional experience:

- Preferably 7 but a minimum 5 years of experience in one of this fields: human resources management, business management and training is required

- Experience in at least one but preferably in three EU funded projects related with training and guidance of employees and/or employers

- Experience in at least two institution building / capacity development projects involving employers and/or employees

- Experience in trade and craft based enterprises will be an asset
