Project title: Technical Assistance for Increasing the Adaptability of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Operation

Brief description: The overall objective of this project is to increase the adaptability of tradesmen and craftsmen by investing more in human capital for the sake of more sustainable economic growth.

The purpose of the project is as follows:

• to increase service delivery capacities of TESK and its training and consultancy centers
• to strengthen competencies of employees and employers working as tradesman and craftsmen

Results to be achieved:

1. Result 1 Improved capacity of the training and consultancy centres in terms of the quality of the services they provide by the end of the operation.
2. Result 2: Enhanced vocational knowledge and skill level of tradesmen and craftsmen by the end of the operation.

Commencement date of the project: November 2013

Requirements:

Qualifications and skills

- University degree in one of the fields of administrative sciences, economics, finance, education, social sciences or in the absence of such a degree at least 10 years of working experience in one of the fields: business management, public administration and training

- Good command of written and spoken English

- Full computer literacy

- Post graduate degree in educational sciences will be an asset

General professional experience:

- Preferably 7 but a minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required

- Having involved in at least one international donor funded project, preferably in EU funded projects, in a key expert position

Specific professional experience:

- Preferably 7 but a minimum of 5 years of experience in implementation and development of capacity building measures is required

- Experience in at least two institution building / capacity development projects including employees and employers

- At least two years of experience on Human Resources Development or training of employees or employers measures

- Experience on implementation of training and guidance of employees and/or employers will be an asset

- Experience in EU funded projects will be an asset
