Assistant - Global Campaign for Education (GCE) UK


CONTRACT: 12-month fixed term contract, Part Time 2.5 days per week
SALARY: £26,527 - £28,400 pro rata
LOCATION: Central London

The Global Campaign for Education (GCE) is a global organisation working to ensure quality education for all children. As Global Campaign for Education (GCE) Assistant you will use your admin skills to support the work of the campaign and its partners in the UK.
A major focus of your work will be supporting the delivery and promotion of the Send my Friend to School campaign, which brings together thousands of pupils and teachers in the UK each year. You will also provide admin support to key groups within the GCE coalition. This will involve organizing meetings and events, preparing communications for coalition members, maintaining records and monitoring media coverage of the campaign as well as the ongoing involvement of MPs.
You’ll be the kind of person who keeps calm under pressure and has extensive experience of providing office or admin support. Naturally good with people, you will have well developed communication skills coupled with an eye for detail. Excellent at multitasking you will also be a strong team player who is able to build relationships across a range of organisations. Extensive experience of using Outlook calendar, and MSOffice as well as diary management and meeting coordination is a must.
