.Net Developer

Our Client - A global manufacturer of energy products from petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and lubricants, to natural gas products for powering business, heating homes and electricity.

Job Description – This is a great opportunity to join a strong IT team as a .Net Developer, providing technical expertise on a global basis.

Responsibilities may include:

• Designing, developing, and supporting custom .Net applications using company best practices.
• Writing maintainable code using Microsoft's .Net technologies and tools (Visual Studio Team Systems and Team Foundation Server).
• Working with Business Analysts to understand business requirements in order to create technical designs.
• Working with other groups within the organization to ensure quality support and delivery to the end-user.
• Providing day-to-day 24x7 application support.
  

Candidate Requirements -

For this role you will need to be degree educated with at least 3 years experience of web or desktop application development and support experience using: Visual Studio ASP.Net, C#, XML, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, HTML, Java, or other object-oriented language.

Ideally you should also have proficiency in developing and maintaining web services and/or WCF written in ASP.Net (preferably C#) and proficiency in: XSL, XSLT, Windows Workflow Foundation. Any experience with SiteMinder, MOSS or understanding of the SAP portal is beneficial as is experience working with relational databases with strong SQL and stored procedure development knowledge.
